I'll go 6 pounds forward, and 6 pounds back!

Ah, winter time! Tis the season for joy, family, togetherness, cold and flu, and comfort food!

Oy vey, what a month it's been! H1N1, infections, Thanksgiving and trying to prepare for the holidaze.

I spent a week in contaminated solitude with H1N1. However, it turns out having the flu is the best diet EVER! I dipped down to a whopping 308; the lowest I've been since I was a teenager.

Then I got better.

Then it got cold.

Walking lost it's lustre.

Cool, crisp, fresh vegitables lost their attraction.

Phad Thai took the place of fresh salad.

Dick's Hamburger's and french fries dominated salmon and rice with steamed vegitables.

Winter! I curse your cold name!

After dipping down to that wopping 308, I've gained back the 6 pounds I've lost since my last weigh in.

So my challenge this winter:

Get my butt back in gear and start exercising again.

Eat my vegitables. I'm thinking there's going to be a lot of roasted brussel sprouts and beets in my wintery future.

Have comfort food with a healthy twist.

Eat at HOME! Stop wasting money by eating out all the time.

Next time I drive by a Popeye's...just say no.
